Breaking the Blog…
I guess it’s obvious at this point that I am taking an extended blog break. Even though I had hinted about it for a while, I clung to the idea that I could post a couple of times a week and continue visiting other blogs. But that’s just not going to happen right now.
Thanks for all the inquiries, emails and even the snarky comments. I assure you that “nothing’s wrong”. I am not sick, I’m not angry at the blogosphere and I am not in jail. I’m just really busy in almost every area of my life right now and have found it difficult to carve out some time to blog.
I may pop in occasionally over the summer with an update but otherwise I am calling a break to the blog (and Twitter and Facebook) until fall.

When you put things into perspective, blogging should really be pretty low on the priority list.

Art,
You have to do what you feel needs to be done. Go and do it. We will be here and if you stop by now and then your presence will be welcomed. I will miss not seeing or reading your words. Yet every now and then I will think of some of the ideas and the music you have put forth. I am sure we will converse in the future.

Well you just have NO idea how much I am going to miss you. I have had fun picking at the Keiffer of Blogland on my site occasionally. Your blog was an everyday visit and your comments always were such a bright spot. There is truly only one Art, and you will be sorely missed my friend. Well, you have been already, actually. I completely understand but I don’t have to like it do I?
This part of blogging feels like Teenage Christmas. Things just can’t stay the same, can they?

You’re being a very wise man, Art. Getting back to real life is something we should probably all do…and I do on occasion let a day or two (or more) go by without logging into my blog. I hope you have a wonderful summer and that you get to enjoy time with your family and friends. We’ll wave as we pass your exit in June…and you have to let us know if you ever decide to venture farther down the Florida peninsula.
